Nelson Piping Company is the corporate head of two operating divisions. Nelson Carlson Mechanical and Nelson Fire Protection. These divisions operate separately or in concert on projects both large and small.
Our firm is one of Illinois oldest firms, being founded in 1919, and incorporated in 1937. In 1982, Nelson purchased Carlson Park Mechanical and formed the operating piping division known as Nelson Carlson Mechanical. In 1997, Nelson Piping further expanded its base to re-enter the fire protection field. This division is now known as Nelson Fire Protection.
NELSON CARLSON MECHANICAL DIVISION
This division does all types of piping and fabrication work. It has CAD capability in house and a fully staffed service department to maintain and repair all of your mechanical needs.
Our focus in the mechanical contracting field has always been to provide commercial industrial services that will fit the needs of our customers and serve our community as well. NELSON FIRE PROTECTION DIVISION
This division, which does all types of fire protection from the residential fire protection to high hazard systems. All design is done in-house as well as fabrication and installation by our own employees. This control assures our customers of complete, on time service under a single source of control.
Our company's staff stands ready to help you in your project. Our project managers will personally see your project through from design to and including the warranty period. We will leave trained personnel totally familiar with your system to service and maintain each installation. Our staff will be available to you on a follow up basis, 24 hours a day. Our company and personnel are not only dedicated to service, but to continuing service for all of our clients.
